If everything goes according to plan, I will be getting married in 378 days (one year and 13 days from today.) to my amazing fiancé, Jordan.
I have been back home for a little over a week now, after spending about 3 months in Australia. I am feeling extremely motivated to get back into working out more and eating healthier. I am especially excited about trying to lose weight this time around because my fiancé is actually going to be doing it with me! I started today, April 3, 2014. Starting weight from today is roughly 250 pounds (113 kilos). My main goal as of right now is to get down to 180 pounds (81 kilos) by the time we get married. I am feeling really excited about this, even though I know it will be difficult, but it’ll be a positive change for me.
Day one: Jogged/Walked for about an hour making a total distance of 2.65 miles (4.26 km) and burned 480 calories (2008.32 kJ).
For breakfast I had a cup of coffee and a couple shortbread biscuits (naughty, naughty!!). For lunch I had a meal replacing shake which I made myself at home using my blender: One scoop of vanilla shake powder, one medium sized banana, one cup of milk, 1/2 a cup of yogurt, and three ice cubes. My snack is a 1/2 cup of almonds.
At this point, I know I really need to focus mainly on what i’m consuming, portion sizes, as well as staying active. I am very excited to see my body change for the better and to start an amazing, healthier life with my love. I will start a food journal to keep track of my progress and possibly put it up on here.
